Esimi Services has been working with young people, families and communities in different settings and programmes since 2008. Based o our experience (personal and professional) we have developed bespoken programmes as well as training for practitioners.
Esimi Services came about, when the founder Nsang Cristia Esimi, identified that the provision of services for young people and their families where not effective enough to tackle some of the problems that certain communities and families endure. We identified as well that professionals lacked a toolkit and knowledge to work with. Our passion for supporting people effectively led us to develop a wide range of professional training, community/personal programmes and workshops to improve the effectiveness of social care intervention. Our staff has over 10 years of experience in mental health, youth work, training, community development and engagement.
Nsang achieved first-class honours and the Yvonne Heart Award in Criminology on his MA in Youth Justice Community Safety and Applied Criminology at Middlesex University. He continues to engage in academic forums around the matter of serious youth violence, youth justice and youth deviance. Nsang is currently in his last year of a professional doctorate in policing and crime at the University of West London while managing the R.E.A.C.H. in the London Borough of Barnet. This allows us to keep up-to-date with evidence-based practice as well as with the most effective interventions, nationally and internationally. This places our training as being up-to-date and relevant to professionals.
